John Schlarbaum was raised in the town of West Lorne, Ontario, Canada. He started his professional writing career as a Writer, Field Director, and Researcher for various nationally syndicated television programs. He has also worked as a Private Investigator, co-owned an award-winning independent bookstore, reviewed books for CBC Radio, and authored mystery and thriller novels, children’s books, a self-help book, and mainstream pop songs.
